Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently extract a soluble material by treating a solid material insoluble or difficultly soluble in liquefied carbon dioxide with liquefied carbon dioxide to extract >=50% of the mixed soluble material and then extracting the soluble material with supercritical carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION:A solid material (material B) soluble or difficultly soluble in liquefied carbon dioxide and contg. a material (material A) soluble in liquefied carbon dioxide is firstly treated with liquefied carbon dioxide to extract >=50% of the mixed material A. The material B is then treated with supercritical carbon dioxide to extract and separate the remaining material A. The solid material B contg. the material A is appropriately powdered or crystallized, and the extraction temp. with liquefied carbon dioxide is appropriately controlled to -10 to 25 deg.C. The critical temp. of the supercritical carbon dioxide is ordinarily controlled to >=31.1 deg.C and appropriately controlled to 35-50 deg.C from the standpoint of temp. controllability, etc.
