Abstract:
PURPOSE:To hold a call immediately when a line wire talking is started by using a control means so as to detect a dial signal inputted from a telephone set just after as a dial signal for talking processing and accepting the signal when a current direction detection means detects the inversion of the polarity of the current from the line wire. CONSTITUTION:A short-circuit means r4 is operated by a control means 11 for a speech period after the inversion of the polarity of current is detected by a current direction detection means 19 to short-circuit a current direction detection means 19, and a dial signal inputted from a telephone set after the current polarity inversion is decided to be a dial signal for speech processing. Thus, the control means 11 decides the start of line wire talking when the current direction detection means 19 detects the inversion of the current polarity of a line wire and a dial signal inputted from a telephone set just after is detected as a dial signal for speech processing and accepted. Thus, the talking such as holding operation is implemented immediately at the start of external speech.
