Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a modified film and to improve electrochemical activity and electric conductivity by forming a composite film incorporating phthalocyanine compound and macromolecular compound on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:Phthalocyanine compound having a carboxyl group shown by Pc(COOH)n is dissolved into non-aqueous solution of dimethylformamide and the like incorporating supporting electrolyte such as CaCl2. The solution undergoes constant current electrolysis, and a thin film incorporating the phthalocyanine compound is formed on a conductive substrate comprising Pt and the like. Pyrole undergoes electrolytic polymerization on the film, and a composite film incorporating the phthalocyanine compound and the polypyrole is formed. Therefore, the strength of the film is sufficient, and electrochemical activity and electric conductivity are improved in comparison with the case wherein only the phthalocyanine compound is used. Therefore, eletrolytic polymerization can be applied, and manufacture is facilitated. Thus, this method can be applied to electrochemical control in a model of peroxidase reaction and various functional electrodes of oxygen sensors.
