Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy of an impact detector of a vehicle by an electric method. CONSTITUTION:An output of an acceleration sensor 1 is converted into a digital signal with an A/D converting section 2 and a frequency spectrum is calculated by a frequency spectrum calculating section 3. Frequency spectrums in a specified range of frequency are integrated with an integrating section 4 from among those spectrums and the integrated value obtained is compared with a reference value by a comparison section 6 to detect collision.
