Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent undersea suspended matter such as jelly fish, dust or the like from being sucked in and prevent a quantity of cooling water from being decreased by floating and collecting undersea suspended matter near the sea surface by an ascending current, separating the same from a cooling water take-in port and turning the moving direction of the matter. CONSTITUTION:An upward nozzle pipe 7 and an upward flow guide plate 9 are disposed in front of plural guide columns 4 erected in front of a cooling water take-in port 1, and a float 5 having a tide back plate 6 is provided on the columns 4. Compressed air is supplied from an air supply pipe 8 to the nozzle pipe 7, and an ascending current is produced by the upward flow guide plate 9 and air bubbles jetted out from the nozzle pipe 7, whereby undersea suspended matters such as jelly fish, dust or the like caught in the tide indicated by an arrow 10 are floated and collected near the sea surface 2. Further, the undersea suspended matters are changed in their moving direction to be separated from the take-in port 1 by the float 5 and the tide back plate 6 which are adapted to moved up and down using the columns 4 as a guide.
