New products of the copper dihydrocarbyldithiophosphyldi-thiophosphates type, their preparation and their use. …These products can be denoted by the general formula: …… in which R denotes especially a monovalent substantially hydrocarbon radical containing 1 to 30 carbon atoms, each of X and Y denoting a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substantially hydrocarbon radical containing 1 to 30 carbon atoms, M denotes copper in either of its two common oxidation states, and n the oxidation state. The products of the invention can be employed as additives for lubricants, in which they act especially as an effective protection against wear.
