Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of control to the other cluster between plural clusters by constituting the controller so that a processor in the cluster executes a block processing of the own processor irrespective of a state of an operation and a block of the other processor. CONSTITUTION:A common control information updating frequency on a shared memory 103 and transfer control information freshness on a built-in disk 105 are read out and its values are compared. As a result, unless its values are equal, common control information on a local memory is transferred to a store area of transfer control information on the disk 105 through a service processor, and a value of transfer information effectiveness decision information of the own cluster is set effectively. Subsequently, a common control information access lock is released and the own processor is blocked. In such a way, a processor in a cluster executes a block processing of the own processor irrespective of a block state of the other processor, by which control for managing the other cluster becomes unnecessary.
