Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently remove the stationary noise and nonstationary noise mixed in a voice regardless of the nature of noise. CONSTITUTION:A voice containing noise and the ambient noise inputted to a microphone 1 inputting the voice and a microphone 2 inputting the ambient noise are converted into time series feature vectors by a feature extraction section 3 and a feature extraction section 4 respectively. A stationary noise removal section 5 and a stationary noise removal section 6 remove the stationary noise from the inputted time series feature vectors respectively. A nonstationary noise removal section 7 removes the nonstationary noise from the voice time series feature vector after the stationary noise is removed. The stationary noise is removed from two inputs respectively by 1-ch spectrum subtraction, and the unremoved remaining noise is referred as the nonstationary noise and removed by 2-ch spectrum subtraction.
