Abstract:

PURPOSE:To prevent a piping defect from being generated in a corner part of the inside periphery of a stock by reverse ironing, in the reverse ironing device for ironing a cylindrical part of the stock extending from its opening part side to a bottom part side by pushing an indenting punch against a bottom part of a cylindrical vessel-like stock converted to one end part of an ironing punch from the opposite side to the ironing punch, and pushing the stock into a die hole of a die together with the ironing punch. CONSTITUTION:In the reverse ironing device having an indenting punch 10, an ironing, punch 34, a die 12, etc., by forming a recessed part 18 for adhering closely to a bottom part of a stock W, when an excess metal generated in a cylindrical part of the stock W by reverse ironing flows from an opening part side of the stock W to its bottom part side, its stock is restricted by the inside surface of the recessed part 18 and flows. In such a way, it is prevented that the outside peripheral edge part of the stock W is buckled by reverse ironing, and moreover, it can be prevented that a piping defect is generated in the inside peripheral corner part of the stock W.
