Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability, to eliminate a designated mistake and to improve reliability by determining the file information of a user file performing a backup from the file control information on a large capacity storage and the file information on a system file and automatically performing the backup. SOLUTION: A backup preparation program 7 refers to system file information 4 and compares and judges whether the file control information corresponding to a file is a system file information 4 or not, after the information corresponding to a file is obtained by the file control information 3 of a large capacity storage 2 such as a disk, etc. When the file control information is the system file information 4, the file is not added to a backup object file. When the file control information is not the system file information 4, the information is added by defining the file as a backup backup object file. The file information on a user file to be the backup object file is referred and the backup of the user file is prepared.
