Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform noise removal without causing the defocusing of a signal. CONSTITUTION:A Fourier transformation calculation part 12 divides an image into small areas, and performs Fourier transformation and calculate Fourier amplitudes, area by area. A noise removal part 13 performs the noise removing process for the Fourier amplitudes, so the high frequency component of the image signal is not attenuated even when an averaging process accompanying many noise removing processes is performed, so that the defocusing is hardly caused. An image restoration part 14 restores the image by using the Fourier amplitudes after the noise removal and the phase of the Fourier transformation calculated by the Fourier transformation calculation part 12 to an image from which noises are removed.
