Abstract:
PURPOSE:To offer many kinds of diverse broadcasting service over a wide range by providing an IC card which incorporates a RAM for storing data composed of digital data extracted by a data extraction part and a ROM stored with the program of a CPU. CONSTITUTION:This computer is equipped with the data extraction part 11 which extracts and stores enciphered digital data in a television video signal, the IC card 14 which incorporates the ROM stored with the basic program of the CPU 26, the control part 12 including a working RAM 27, the RAM 34 for storing the data composed of the extracted digital data, and the ROM 35 stored with the program of the CPU 26, and an interface part 13 for connecting the IC card 14. Therefore, received data are processed, stored, and applied by using an external supply program. Consequently, many kinds of diverse wide-range close service corresponding to individual users can be offered.
