Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow normal functions, such as an automatic cassette selection function and an automatic fixed-magnification selection function, to be used not only for a regular-size paper but also for an irregular-size paper. CONSTITUTION: When data on the length/width of an irregular-size paper is inputted from a control panel 40, a control part 2 stores the data into an area of a RAM 4, where the paper length/width data for every paper-feed stage are stored. Based on the data on the length/width of the irregular-size paper stored in the RAM 4, the control part controls the function, such as binding- margin copying or frame-erasure copying, in the same manner as in the case of the regular-size paper.
