Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the light scattering at a transparent resin layer and to decrease the power loss at the time of writing and reading out by providing the transparent resin layer mixed with conductive fillers having the refractive index (n) smaller than 1.8 on the other main surface of a plastic substrate formed with an optical recording layer on one main surface. CONSTITUTION:The transparent resin layer 14 mixed with the conductive fillers having the refractive index (n) smaller than 1.8 is provided on the other main surface of the plastic substrate 2 formed with the optical recording layer 6 on the one main surface. Since a difference in the refractive index between the transparent resin and the fillers is small, the light scattering on the transparent resin layer 14 is suppressed in this way and the light energy required for recording and reproducing is decreased. Since the light scattering by the fillers is small, the content of the fillers is increased. Consequently, the transparent resin layer 14 having a high electrical conductivity is formed.
