Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly carry out cooling of an engine and an exhaust system on a small planing boat without inviting back pressure rise of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A small planing boat is furnished with a propulsive machine 3, an engine 4 set in a hull and to drive the propulsive machine 3 and an exhaust device 9 to discharge exhaust gas of the engine out of the boat through an exhaust pipe 13, a muffler 16 and a tail pipe 17. A cooling water passage 11 to discharge cooling water taken in from a high pressure part 3a of the propulsive machine 3 out of the boat through the engine 4 and the exhaust device 9 in a state of separating it from exhaust gas is provided in the hull. At least external walls of the exhaust pipe 13 and the muffler 16 out of the exhaust device are doubly structured, and the cooling water passage 11 is formed between them.
