Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save manpower and energy in operating the device and to stabilize treatment in the waste water treatment utilizing aerobic microorganism by sampling, measuring and analyzing the waste water during or after the treatment and developing automatic operative method and device for controlling the operating conditions. SOLUTION: In the waste water treatment utilizing aerobic microorganism, the waste water being aerated is sampled in a measuring vessel 11, and the dissolved oxygen, a decrease in the dissolved oxygen while the supply of the raw waste water is stopped and an increase in the dissolved oxygen are measured respectively with a dissolved oxygen meter 10. The data from the meter 10 are imputted to a computer 22, the activity of sludge, the untreated BOD concn. and whether the aeration air is sufficient or not are specified by the computer 22 and compared with the desired sludge activity and untreated BOD concn. and the desired inspection DO curve pattern, and a signal for instructing or controlling the increase or decrease of aeration air amt., etc., is emitted.
