Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the moving mechanism of especially an automatic inspecting device, in an automatic inspecting device for the interior of the cargo oil tank of a ship like a large tanker. CONSTITUTION:An elevating table 14 is disposed along a pole 15 delivered from the upper deck 3 of a ship and having a lower end part fixed in a cargo oil tank, formed to a ship, and to the ship bottom 5 of a ship. An arm 18 provided at its tip with an expandable part is horizontally protruded from the elevating table 14. An automatic inspecting device on which an inspecting tool to inspect the interior of the cargo oil tank is mounted is mounted on the arm 18 sidable in the longutudinal direction of the arm 18 and rotatably around the arm 18 serving as a central axis. This constitution performs inspection of the interior of the cargo oil tank without erecting a scaffolding and increases an inspection speed.
