Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the title foam which can be properly produced over a wide range of foaming temp. and exhibits an excellent flexibility over a range of from a high to a low expansion ratio while overcoming defects occurring in a conventional extruded propylene resin foam prepd. from a noncrosslinked propylene resin. CONSTITUTION:A noncross-linked resin component comprising 97-55wt.% propylene resin having long-chain branches and a drawdown of 60m/min or lower and 3-45wt.% linear ultralow-density polyethylene is melt mixed with a blowing agent and extruded under a low pressure thus giving the title foam.
