Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a piezoelectric ceramic material prevented from declining in piezoelectric characteristics due to thermal shock and reduced in oscillation frequency deviation, leading to improving the reliability of piezoelectric resonators, comprising basic composition given by general formula and Mn as subcomponent at specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective piezoelectric ceramic material comprising (A) 100mol of basic composition and (B) 2.6-3.8 gram atom of Mn as subcomponent. The basic composition A is given by general formula XPb(Sn0.5Sb0.5)O3- YPbTiO3-(1-X-Y)-PbZrO3 (X+Y<1; X is 0.01-0.2, Y is Y is 0.3-0.7). This piezoelectric ceramic material, which has excellent piezoelectric characteristics and is low in oscillation frequency deviation even if subjected to thermal shock, can be used for piezoelectric resonators or frequency filters.
