Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable emission control so effectively in low cost by having air polluted by auto exhaust in an underground parking lot passed through a soil layer stratified in an upper part of the underground parking lot. CONSTITUTION:A double floor is interposed between an underground parking lot 1 and a soil layer 4 stratified in an upper part of this parking lot 1, installing an exhaust gas supply pump 5 in this double floor, and an air permeable soil layer holding member is installed in top of the double floor. Air polluted by auto exhaust of an automobile 8 in the underground parking lot 1 is passed through the soil layer 4 by means of driving the pump 5, exhausting it upward. At this time, various gases are adsorbed by soil in the soil layer 4, decomposing an organic matter or the like into carbon dioxide and hydrogen by means of a decomposing action through a soil microorganism, thus the polluted air is purified.
