Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transfer articles even when these are housed in a case with holes and to improve article housing efficiency in a warehouse, etc. CONSTITUTION: A stacker crane is provided with a carriage 9 having a mounting base 8 on which an article 7 is placed and traveled in the height direction of a shelf and the extended direction of a shelf plate 10, a pair of left and right folk members 13 and 14 provided in both sides of the mounting base 8 and moved back and forth to the shelf plate 10 side, a folk width adjusting mechanism 11 for adjusting a space between these folk members 13 and 14 and push bars 16 and 17 fixed and supported in the folk members 13 and 14 so as to be positioned in the front or the rear side of the article 7 when this is placed between the folk members 13 and 14. By pushing out the article 7 using these push bars 16 and 17, the article 7 is transferred.
