Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the reception of a facsimile document disabling print-out by deciding the designation for a paper size and a resolution parameter based on the attribute of a printer shared in common to a local area network. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a storage means 300 storing a reception function data included in a document command in a reception data received from facsimile equipments 201, 202 connecting to a digital public network 200 and a storage means 104 storing the attribute table of a print server 103 placed in a connected local area network 100. In this case, after the reception of the document command, the paper size and the resolution parameter are designated based on the attribute of the common print server 103 on the LAM 100. Thus, the reception of the facsimile document causing disabled prin- out is avoided.
