Abstract:
In a material comminution process, pref. for fine to ultra-fine grinding of pre-comminuted material, the novelty is that, after pre-comminution of primary particles with a sieve residue of max. 3%+500 microns mesh or to a Blaine specific surface of \- 1600 (pref. 2500-4000) cm<2>/g, the material is ground to final fineness by frictional comminution of an attritor ball mill. Also claimed is a grinding plant with a pre-comminution unit, the output material of which is ground to final fineness in a succeeding mill.
