Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of construction joints and the adhesiveness to steel fibers at an initial age and to lower the concn. of the generated dust and splashing back rate at the time of application by dry spraying by substituting a part of ultra-rapid setting cement with silica fumes. CONSTITUTION:The above ultra-rapid setting mortar is obtd. by kneading water, fine aggregate (the aggregate having 2 to 6% surface water rate needs be used at the time of the application by dry spraying) and the steel fibers are mixed with a mixture composed of 88 to 92wt.% ultra-rapid setting cement and 8 to 12wt.% silica fumes having about >=90% SiO2 content, about 0.15mum average grain size, and about 15 to 250,000cm<2>/g specific surface area.
