Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide net-formed knit or woven fabric having high tensile and tear resistance, high rigidity, excellent light-resistance and uniform quality and suitable as a laying net for construction for the reinforcement of banking or improvement of weak ground. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic fiber yarn 1 is completely covered with a light- shielding slit film 2 having a melting point lower than that of the synthetic fiber yarn. A coarse mesh base cloth is produced by using the obtained covered yarn 3 as the warp and weft and knitting or weaving in the form of a lattice. The slit film 2 is melted to weld and integrate the warp and the weft of the base cloth at the crossing part of both yarns.
