Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetoelectric converting element which can be used under a high-temperature condition and has excellent detecting sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:Electrode sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are formed in a base section 1 composed of a ferromagnetic substance. When a magnetic field is impressed in the plane of the base section 1 while an electric current is made to flow between the electrode sections 2 and 3, an electromotive force is generated between the electrode sections 4 and 5 in the direction perpendicular to the flowing direction of the electric current. The electromotive force becomes the maximum when the angle between the direction of the current J and magnetic field H is 45 deg..
