Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain manpower saving and high efficiency from design to merchandization and the reduction of development cost by combining the optional parts of a surface patterns generated separately, and outputting them to the same color printer. CONSTITUTION:An input device 1 to input information to designate the kind of the structure of textile, the color of yarn and the thickness of the yarn, an area information storage means to store the information of every area of the yarn and every area of the textile, an arithmetic means 4 to execute the arithmetic operation of every area of the yarn and every area of the textile, and a synthesizing means 9 to synthesize the area information stored in the area information storage means are provided. Then, the result of the arithmetic operation from the arithmetic means 4 and output from the synthesizing means 9 are color-printed. Namely, a generated cloth image is registered previously, and at the time of the design of the newly designed pattern, the optional part of the registered pattern is taken out, or the color of the pattern is designated, and it is applied to the design in the course of generation. Thus, comparison and examination at the time of the design becomes comparatively easy, and the manpower saving and the high efficiency from the design to the merchandization are attained.
