Abstract:
PURPOSE:To check the forming degree of a press formed article by marking the point near the spot welded zone of a work and checking the forming degree by the deformation state thereof before and after the press forming. CONSTITUTION:The point near the spot weld zone 11 of the work W is marked in order to check the forming degree of the press formed article subjected to spot welding. The work formed with this mark 10 is then pressed to form the press formed article. The forming degree of the press formed article is checked by whether the deformation state (elongation rate) of the mark 10 of this press formed article is within the permissible range of a preset value. The strength of the press formed article is easily and exactly assured in this way.
