Abstract:
PURPOSE:To give an optimum particle size distribution to a generated grannular material by using measured values of a particle size distribution and a process variable to estimate the value of a parameter, which obtains relations between the particle size distribution and the process variable, and the future value of the particle size distribution by the algorithm of an optimum filter and calculating an optimum manipulated variable to a granulating system. CONSTITUTION:Data D of the particle size distribution which is picked up by a photographing device 7 and is generated by a picture processor 8 is inputted to a parameter identifying part 11, and an optimum operation vector U(k+1) generated by an optimum manipulated variable determining part 13 is changed to a manipulated variable vector U(k) of a sampling time (k) by a conversion part 14 and is supplied to the parameter identifying part 11. The parameter identifying part 11 uses them to calculate an optimum estimated value C' of the parameter matrix by the algorithm of an optimum filter. A particle size distribution vector D' (k+1) is obtained by a particle size distribution measuring part 12 and is substituted for the particle size distribution D by the optimum manipulated variable determining part 13 to obtain a vector U indicating the optimum manipulated variable.
