Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform honing of a grinding wheel having a honing face in a sharp condition and to perform removing loading of the grinding wheel, in a short time without enlarging a device in its size. CONSTITUTION:A dummy workpiece 29 is arranged in the upward of a cylinder block 1 which is a workpiece, and by a grinding wheel 13, placed in a condition with the honing face sharpened before use, or by a grinding wheel 13 placed in a loaded condition, the dummy workpiece 29 is ground.
