Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of accurately performing density control processing without making a measuring error at the time of forming a toner image to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The case that a reflected light quantity detection part 52 is connected to sensor output(output to a CPU 60) and also a light source light quantity detection part 57 is connected to a comparison amplification part 55 and the case that the detection part 52 is connected to the amplification part 55 and also the detection part 517 is connected to the sensor output(output to the CPU 60) are switched to connect them. In the case the sensor output is connected to the detection part 52 by a monitor switching means 58, a changeover switch 69 is connected to the detection part 52 and the gain adjustment of a reflected light quantity detecting gain amplifier is performed. In the case the sensor output is connected to the detection part 57 by the switching means 58, the switch 69 is connected to the detection part 57 and the gain adjustment of a light source light quantity detection gain amplifier is performed.
