Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep the number of parts from being increased and to suit the synthetic color temperature and the quantity of emitted light from a stroboscope to the color temperature and the luminance of peripheral light. CONSTITUTION:By turning on either IGBT 22 or 24, a corresponding xenon tube 10 or 12 starts to emit light. The voltage value of a signal line S12 connected to a main capacitor 19 for accumulating charge for the light emission of the xenon tubes 10 and 12 is obtained by an A/D converter 53. The color temperature of the peripheral light E1 of a subject 52 is measured by a colorimetry sensor 50. Based on the measured color temperature, the voltage value of the signal line S12 at the time of releasing a shutter, and the photometric value of the subject 52 at the time of starting photographing; the emitted light quantities of the respective xenon tubes 10 and 12 are fixed and controlled so that the synthetic value of the color temperature of the emitted light from the xenon tubes 10 and 12 may coincide with the color temperature of the peripheral light E1.
