Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a CDV control system to constantly monitor a CDV(Cell Delay variation) value to be generated in an ATM(Asynchronous Transfermode) network and to control the quantity of cells to be stored inside a buffer for absorbing CDV by dynamically fluctuating it by the CDV value to be generated. SOLUTION: A CLAD (Cell Assembly and Disassembly) device 10 to be equipped in the ATM network is provided with an ATM interface circuit 11 having a transmitting and receiving function of ATM cells, a CDV control circuit 12 to absorb CDV of the cells and an ATM cell assembling/disassembling circuit 13 to disassemble the cells to be outputted by the CDV control circuit 12, to output them in a terminal line interface circuit 14 and to simultaneously assemble output of the terminal line interface circuit 14 to cells.
