Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery power supplying method for a vehicle capable of definitely preventing low battery during parking. SOLUTION: The residual capacity of a battery 14 after engine stop is calculated. The supply of battery power to an operable load is forcibly stopped even when the ignition switch is in the off position be fore the residual battery capacity calculated is lowered to a minimum limit capacity required to restart the engine. By doing this, the battery is prevented from becoming dead due to the headlights or room lights kept operating mistakenly.
