Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery with extremely high charging and discharging capacity. SOLUTION: A non-aqueous secondary battery comprises non-aqueous electrolyte, electrode active material of SiOx powder (x=1.05-1.60) capable of occuluding and releasing lithium ions, and conductive material of carbon black powder of DBP absorbing amount 50-280 ml/100 g. A structure index of the carbon black powder is desirably 1.5-4.0.
