Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic sheath-type thermocouple whose temperature responsiveness is enhanced. SOLUTION: In the ceramic sheath-type thermocouple, a protective pipe 1 is made of a ceramic which is selected from among silicon nitrode, a sialon and silicon carbide, and W-Re strands 6, 7 which comprise a coupling part to be used as a temperature measuring point 5 are arranged at the inside of the protective pipe 1. Then, a filler 2 which is composed of an Si3 N4 -based reaction-sintered ceramic is arranged at the tip part 4 of the protective pipe 1 so as to surround the W-Re strands 6, 7, and a filler 3 whose thermal conductivity is smaller than that of the filler 2 and which is composed of SiC whiskers is arranged at a rear part 11. In addition, an inert gas is sealed at the inside of the protective pipe 1.
