Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize reduction in a transmission range due to a cable loss in the case of long distance transmission by improving degradation in a noise figure in the reception. SOLUTION: An output signal from a LAN transmitter-receiver 2 is fed to a directive antenna 1 via a circulator 11, a directional coupler 12 and a circulator 13 of the radio LAN booster 10. Furthermore, the signal is detected by a detector 15, amplified by a DC amplifier 16, the amplified signal is given to a control terminal (c) of a high frequency changeover switch 14 to select an output terminal (b) of the high frequency changeover switch 14 and to disconnect a reception path. When the LAN transmitter-receiver 2 is set to the reception mode, no output signal is present from the detector 15 and a control terminal (c) of the high frequency changeover switch 14 becomes an 'L' level. Thus, an output terminal (a) is selected by the high frequency changeover switch 14, after the received signal is amplified by a low noise amplifier 18 and the amplified signal is fed to the LAN transmitter-receiver 2 from the circulator 11.
