Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the intrusion of foreign matter into a liq. coolant and to obviate the adverse effect on a pump by removing the foreign matter in the coolant with a protective filter and discharging the deposited foreign matter into a tank through a pipeline. CONSTITUTION: The opposed plungers 11 are connected through a connecting member 12 in a plunger pump 1, and a liq. coolant is sucked by the one plunger and discharged by the other. The connecting member 12 is reciprocated by a motor 2, the coolant is sucked by opening a suction valve 61, the foreign matter such as cuttings contained in the coolant is removed by a filter 5 in a pipeline 4 connecting a first tank 31 and the pump 1, and the deposited foreign matter is discharged into a second tank 32 through a pipeline by opening a discharge valve 62.
