Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for effectively exterminating water microorganisms living in a breeding aquarium while reducing the load on fish, coral or the like of the breeding object minimum.
The apparatus for exterminating the water microorganisms has a container 21 for separating bottom sand 12 and seawater 11 at the vicinity thereof of the breeding aquarium 10 from the seawater 11 at the other region of the breeding aquarium 10 by covering the bottom sand 12, and having the opened bottom face, a stirring and mixing means 22 for digging the bottom sand 12 and mixing the bottom sand with the seawater 11, and a ceramic heater 23 for heating the seawater 11.
