To provide a rotary pressure dehydrator stably dehydrating sludge.
This rotary pressure dehydrator 1 is provided with: a pair of disk-like filter plates 6, 7 rotated by a horizontal drive shaft 2 and having filtering faces provided with multiple water passing holes; a sludge supply part 8 supplying sludge to which a polymer coagulant is added to be mixed into a dehydration chamber 10 formed between the pair of the disk-like filter plates 6, 7; and a dehydrated cake discharge part 9 discharging dehydrated cake. The sludge supply part 8 of the rotary pressure dehydrator 1 is provided at a position on the lower side of the rotation center of the disk-like filter plates and supplying sludge into the dehydration chamber 10 from the outer peripheral part of the dehydration chamber 10; and the dehydrated cake discharge part 9 is provided at a position on the upper side of the rotation center of the disk-like filter plates 6, 7 and discharging the dehydrated cake in the dehydration chamber 10 from the outer peripheral part of the dehydration chamber 10.
