Abstract:
To make it easy to install a shielding wall for reducing radiation exposure in the repairing and repair work in a reactor pressure vessel (RPV).
The shielding wall in an RPV skirt 11 is constituted by putting shielding body blocks 20 on shielding body support pedestals 19 mounted on CRD housings 9, and a shielding wall in a pedestal 12 consists of shielding plates 26 mounted on a CRD housing flange 9a.
