Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical capacitor having high energy density, satisfactory heat resistance, charging and discharge cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: This electrochemical capacitor includes pair of oxidation- reduction active electrodes, and an electrolyte solution or ion electric conductive solid electrolyte between the oxidation-reduction active electrodes. In this constitution, the reduction-reduction active electrode includes a copolymerized body structure indicated as in chemical formulae, and thereby the electrochemical capacitor of high energy density, superior heat resistance, and charging and discharging cycle characteristics can be obtained.
