Abstract:
To provide a means and a method for a reformer generating high-density hydrogen gas supplied to a fuel cell to enable to stably generate high-density hydrogen gas from a startup.
Water and hydrocarbon system gas to be materials for hydrogen gas is supplied to the reformer through a material supply control device. High-density hydrogen gas is generated from the startup by beginning to supply the gas after raising the temperature of the reformer up to a given temperature. It is preferable to change a supply volume of water with time while supplying it during the temperature raising.
