To solve the problems wherein a reader cannot freely obtain his/her desired information and cannot read articles on exhibition from other than a fixed angle because guidance means in an exhibition hall is mainly of guide plates and a directional voice.
An information distribution system is provided with a radio LAN base station 1 installed in the exhibition hall 5 and provided with information on articles 3 on exhibition in the exhibition hall 5, cameras 4 installed around the articles 3 on exhibition and at a position that looks down upon the exhibition hall 5 and connected to the radio LAN base station 1 through a radio LAN, and radio terminals 2 connected to the radio LAN base station 1 through the radio LAN and for operating the cameras 4 to acquire images of the articles 3 on exhibition. The radio terminals 2 acquire the information of the articles 3 on exhibition from an article on exhibition information storing part of the radio LAN base station 1, inputs a keyword about the articles 3 on exhibition, retrieves the articles on exhibition information storing part existing in the radio LAN base station 1 to acquire the information of the articles 3 on exhibition.
