Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible tube for an exhaust system in an automobile whose heat resistance is improved even with the use of inexpensive bellows and an inner-cylinder member, and freedom of layout is improved by eliminating the restriction in position setting of the exhaust system. SOLUTION: An inner-cylinder member is arranged inside bellows 3 for suppressing overheating of the bellows 3 which is caused by exhaust heat. The inner cylinder member is an inner blade 8 containing wire bundles, prepared by traversely arranging a plurality of metal wires in line to obtain a bundle, and twilling the bundles. Among the bundles, both end metal wires are smaller in diameters than other metal wires. The inner-cylinder member may have double overlapped structure composed of a first inner blade and a second inner blade.
