Abstract:
The device has a feeder (1) to position sheets on supports (4) on a continuous conveyor. The supports have support edges (8), which in at least the area of the working stations (1) extend at an angle to the direction of travel (3) of the conveyor (16), e.g. an angle of 30-60 degrees , e.g. 45 degrees . The sheet feeder opens each sheet along its free edges (12) opposite to the fold (7), and then places each one on a support, in a feed direction, which is angled relative to the conveyor direction. The supports are fastened pivoted and liftable to the conveyor.
