Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tranfer unit for an imaging device which realizes pressing and separation of a transfer roller with a small driving force. SOLUTION: When a 1st driving rail 45 is displaced on a frame 36a, the transfer roller 25a is pressed to a photoreceptor drum 17 based on the rocking of a 1st rocking member 37 in a transfer unit. When a 2nd driving rail 46 is displaced on the frame 36a, the transfer rollers 25b to 25d are pressed to the drum 17 based on the rocking of 2nd to 4th rocking members 39 to 41. For example, in the case of moving the roller 25a, the rail 45 will not receive repulsive force from the 2nd to the 4th rocking members 39 to 41 at all even though it receives repulsive force from the member 37. Therefore, the rail 45 is displaced by comparatively small driving force.
