To provide a method and a device capable of planning an optimum maintenance management schedule from the aspect of profitability and easily executing various money processings relating to maintenance management.
The maintenance management schedule supporting device and method of plant equipment comprises: a plant development display / operation means 1 capable of displaying the development state of plant components, an event tree development for fault events and measures of the respective components and maintenance management information for the components on a display and changing the development state of the components and the event tree development by operations; a storage means 3 for storing a fault history, an operation history and profitability data corresponding to the components and the fault events; and respective means which are an event tree generation means 4, an event attribute setting means 5, a fault probability calculation means 6, a risk calculation means 7, a profitability calculation means 8, a maintenance management schedule preparation means 9 and an information control means 2 for performing various kinds of processings on the basis of the output of the plant development display / operation means and the stored data of the storage means.
