Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a fuel pump attachment structure for motor bicycle that maintains a minimum but necessary clearance between a fuel pump and other parts and effectively eliminates troubles such as a damage of the fuel pump or pulling off of fuel hose in disassembly or service. The construction of the present invention is a motor bicycle having a fuel pump 43 detachably mounted on a glove box (vehicle body attached part) 26, the glove box 26 being detachably mounted to a cross member (vehicle body frame) 30 with a bolt, wherein a head part of an attachment bolt 47 attaching the glove box 26 on the cross member 30 is covered by a key shaped projection 48c of an attachment stay 48 of a separate body of the fuel pump 43. The present invention prevents the glove box 26 from being detached with the fuel pump 43 attached by mistake in disassembly or service and troubles such as damage of the fuel pump 43 due to interference with other parts or pulling off the fuel hose 46 connecting to the fuel pump 43 will not occur.
