To provide a fuel supply device for an engine, constituted by a return- less fuel supply system, allowing sure fuel cut even in case of sudden deceleration and the drop of a fuel pressure down to a fuel pressure corresponding to a fuel injection reset speed by the time that fuel injection is reset.
An ECU sets a target fuel pressure Po in accordance with a throttle opening TVO and an engine speed Ne and controls a fuel pump so that an actual fuel pressure P becomes a target fuel pressure Po, and it performs fuel cut when the throttle opening is smaller than a first preset value TVO1 and drops the target fuel pressure Po down to a preset value corresponding to a reset speed value Ner when the throttle opening is lowered to a second preset value TVO2 before lowered to the first preset value TVO1.
